Umar Naveed Mohammed Abdulmalik

Umar Naveed Mohammed Abdulmalik is the founder of the Angels of Hope Foundation, he is an experienced Administrative/HR Executive with over 7 years of experience in the health insurance subsidiary of an Oil & Gas corporation and a Consultant. Throughout his career, Umar has proven his passion and deep commitment towards improving organizations. He has a proven track record of leading a team in ensuring a seamless ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015 (IMS) certification, earning several recommendations and awards from the Top Management, as well as a staff award for the “Highest Net Premium Income.” Additionally, Umar has experience in Asset Management, Office Management, Project Management, HSE, and Strategic Staffing Planning. Umar has also been actively involved in the Humanitarian/Community space and has been recognized by major organizations. He was the Curator of World Economic Forums Global Shapers Community – Abuja hub and a Member of Rotary International District 9125 – Abuja Federal. Umar is also a Senior Associate in a Consultancy Firm, the Project Director of KIT Academy, a capacity development center that trains youths in Nigeria, providing capital for the participants after the training. He is an Advisory Board member of a reputable international academy in Nigeria. Furthermore, he has been listed as the top 100 youths making a positive impact in Nigeria and has been nominated as the Social Entrepreneur of the year. Umar is an advocate for community development and a mentor to many aspiring community service advocates. He sits on the board of several NGOs and is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of others. With his wealth of experience and expertise, Umar continues to lead the Angels of Hope Foundation in its mission to improve the lives of those in need.

He is the Managing Director of the Angels of Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization that is focused on providing relief to families and individuals who are marginalized and in need. Abdullahi has been working in the non-profit sector for over 10 years and has been instrumental in helping to develop and implement lifesaving programs for those in need. He is passionate about bringing positive change to communities through his work at Angels of Hope Foundation. Abdullahi is a strong believer of technology as a way to make life easier for the less privileged. He is always looking for ways to leverage technology to help those in need. He has been involved in developing systems for the organization that allow for better management of resources and data. In his free time, Abdullahi enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, playing basketball, and traveling. He also serves as a mentor to youths in his community, teaching them the importance of education and helping them to realize their dreams. Abdullahi is driven by the belief that everyone deserves a chance to live a life of dignity and respect, and he works hard to make sure that everyone has access to the resources they need. He is a strong advocate for social justice and is committed to making the world a better place.

Zahradden Muhammad Kamilu is the Chief Operating officer of Angels of Hope Foundation. He is an Industrial Chemist and an Equsterian. Zahraddeen enjoys making an impact through charity and drives major grassroots projects in the foundation. He is passionate about the cause of Angels of Hope and works towards creating awareness of their mission. Zahraddeen has over 5 years of experience in the field of industrial chemistry and an extensive background in equestrian sports. He is an accomplished equestrian, having won multiple medals in national competitions. He also has a degree in Industrial Chemistry from Bayero University Kano. Zahraddeen has a deep passion for helping others and is a natural leader. He has been able to use his expertise to develop innovative projects and campaigns to raise awareness for the foundation. He also has a great eye for detail, which has enabled him to effectively manage the foundation's operations and finances. Zahraddeen is a strong believer in the power of charity and the mission of Angels of Hope. He is passionate about making a difference and improving the lives of those in need.

Haruna Hassan Tukur

Haruna Hassan Tukur

Haruna Hassan Tukur is an accomplished Director of Finance and Accountant with the Angels of Hope Foundation. He is a graduate of Accounting and Finance from Heriot-Watt University, Dubai Campus, and is an entrepreneur and farmer. Haruna was born into a family of achievers and is the youngest of four children with two sisters and a brother. His late father was a successful Accountant, and his mother is a two-time member of the House of Representatives. Haruna's maternal grandfather was the PDP Chairman for the North West and also a Senator before he passed away, while his paternal grandfather was the first Nigerian High Commissioner to the UK and also the Emir of Yauri. Haruna's family has always been supportive and encouraged him to pursue his dreams, which is why he chose to study Accounting. He found it easy and had the added benefit of being his late father's chosen profession. As the Director of Finance and Accountant for the Angels of Hope Foundation, Haruna's role involves managing the foundation's finances and ensuring that they are used effectively to achieve the organization's goals. His background in accounting and finance has been an asset to the foundation, and he has been instrumental in ensuring that the foundation's financial operations run smoothly. Apart from his professional achievements, Haruna is an entrepreneur and a farmer. He has a keen interest in agriculture and believes that it is the key to Nigeria's economic growth. He has also established his own business, which is focused on providing consulting services to small and medium-sized enterprises. Haruna is a passionate individual who is committed to making a difference in the lives of others. He is a strong advocate for education and believes that it is the foundation for personal and societal growth. She is currently serving as the Member/Volunteer Service and Enrolment Director of the Angels of Hope Foundation. Maryam's background includes extensive experience in volunteer and enrolment management, fundraising, and program development. She has a deep understanding of the importance of volunteerism, and a passion for helping others. At the Angels of Hope Foundation, Maryam works diligently to ensure that the organization's volunteers are receiving the best possible service and support. She also works to find new enrolment opportunities and to ensure that volunteers are kept informed of the latest initiatives and opportunities available. Maryam has a Bachelor's degree in Education Biology from Bayero University and has completed a number of certification courses. Maryam is a strong believer in the power of volunteering and community service. She is committed to making a difference and helping those in need, and is always looking for new ways to help the Angels of Hope Foundation make a positive impact on the community.

As the Niger State Coordinator of Angels of Hope Foundation, Aisha's passion for philanthropy shines through. With over five years of experience as a Broadcast Journalist, Aisha has become an expert in her field, holding positions such as General Manager of Badeggi Radio 90.1FM Minna and Sub News Editor with Citizen FM 93.7 Abuja. Aisha's commitment to giving back to society is evident in her various volunteer positions, including her role as the Niger State Radio Bounce Corruption Ambassador for Yiaga Africa, Volunteer One Champion Nigeria, and ONE advocate. Aisha advocates and campaigns on a range of issues, including education, gender, health, agriculture, and transparency, as a means of fighting poverty. She is also a volunteer with Lux Terra Leadership Foundation, an organization that aims to expose leaders and potential leaders to the dynamics of purposeful, visionary, transformative, and inspiring servant leadership. Khadija Ahmed Obande is an assistant program manager & liaison officer (Orphans) of Angels of Hope Foundation Abuja Chapter. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Maiduguri and a Master’s Degree in Peace & Conflict Resolution from Nile University. She is a highly accomplished professional with a passion for helping the less privileged in society. Khadija is an experienced leader and team player who has successfully managed and coordinated a wide range of projects in the public and private sector. Her experience spans various fields including legal, NGO and corporate affairs. As an Assistant Program Manager & Liaison Officer for the Angels of Hope Foundation, she is responsible for the successful implementation of the Foundation’s orphan care programs. She also works closely with local NGOs, government agencies and other stakeholders to ensure that the Foundation’s initiatives are well-received and effectively implemented. In her free time, Khadija loves to travel and explore new places. She particularly enjoys learning about different cultures and their customs. She also loves reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Abubakar Lawan Gashagar, or Abba as he is fondly called by family and friends, is a multi-talented individual with a heart for making a difference in the lives of others. He is the Program Officer of Angels of Hope Foundation - Abuja Chapter, where he has dedicated his skills and expertise towards helping those in need. Born and raised in Abuja, Abba hails from Maiduguri, Borno State. In addition to his role at Angels of Hope Foundation, Abba is a civil servant. He obtained his BSc in Business Administration from Alhikma University between 2011 and 2015 and went on to complete his MSc in Business Management at Girne American University between 2016 and 2018. Abba's philosophy is that self-praise is essential, and he proudly declares that he is a great guy, one of a kind. He is patient, nice, and funny, and his love for making people happy and laugh is evident in his interactions with others. As the Program Officer of Angels of Hope Foundation - Abuja Chapter, Abba's dedication to helping others is clear. Ishiyaku Njidda has been a leader, mentor, volunteer, and someone typically on the lookout to serve in any capacity to impact positively on the lives of others. Through National and local community engagements, he has developed leadership competence and championed several community projects that have improved lives. Njidda is the Kaduna state coordinator for Angels of Hope Foundation since year 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, a Post Graduate Diploma, and a Master's in Business Administration. Njidda is an active member of several Professional bodies and Associations both locally and internationally, he currently works with a shipping and logistics company with Headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. He is married with children.

In her spare time she likes to cycle and play tennis. And in the professional world she is an accomplished fashion designer.

Aisha Abubakar

AISHA ABUBAKAR is a Managing Partner, at Savvy Legal Consult & Associates, a law firm she founded in such a little span of post-call experience as a lawyer. She has rendered legal professional services to numerous individuals and top-tier governmental and non-governmental organizations. As a Humanitarian, with a focus on Education, Health and legal action, and community development, she has successfully managed projects with diverse people of different backgrounds. Through these projects, she has impacted the lives of various Nigerians, key amongst which is the “Sponsor a Child program” and Medical Outreach within several communities. She is also, the Legal Adviser, at the Angels of Hope Foundation. A Master Degree holder in Law (LL.M, 2021) at Bayero University, Kano, B.L, Nigeria Law School, 2015, and a law degree from Bayero University, Kano, (LL. B,2014). She has an interest in areas of International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, Oil and Gas law, and Environmental Law and a keen interest in Legislative drafting and policy making. She is a Fellow, of the Legislative mentorship Initiative and a mentee, 3 rd Cohort of the Youth Mentorship retreat of the Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo. Over the years, she has displayed absolute dedication and efficiency in carrying out her responsibilities with honesty and strong will. She also possesses Good interpersonal relationship skills, Effective communication skills, a fast learner, with the ability to work for long hours under pressure with minimum or no supervision. Shortly, she sees herself actively involved in taking leadership roles that will directly assist in contributing to a better Nigeria and the world at large.

Ejikeme Ifeanyi Otti is a Project Manager and a Social Enterprise Professional. He has about 5 years work experience in the private and public sectors in Nigeria working across various industries. He is the Project Coordinator of the Emergung Leaders, a community service award aimed at encouraging youths, particularly those in higher institutions of learning, to engage in community driven initiatives. It encourages these youth to implement innovative solutions to some of the most pressing social challenges within their community. Ejikeme currently works for Nigeria’s Foremost Revenue Generating Agency (Federal Inland Revenue Service) where he works in the tax audit function to check tax compliance levels of companies in accordance with the tax laws. He is an Alumni of the Abuja hub of the Global Shapers Community an initiative of the World Economic Forum.
