The Angels of Hope Foundation held it’s annual nationwide Ramadan feeding program again in Abuja and other states.

The foundation fed thousands of Orphans, widows, people with special disabilities and traumatized women across Nigeria during 2018 Ramadan. To also make the Orphans, widows, people with special disabilities and traumatized women feel the same way those with means enjoy the luxury of taste as ‘Iftar’ dinner, the foundation choose certain days within the glorious month of Ramadan to carry out feeding exercise across states and localities in Nigeria. The Abuja team set out to feed over two hundred (200) people classified as disabled, traumatized and old women, the Ramadan feeding was carried out on the 19th May, 2018. This took place at jiwa community which is one hour drive from Abuja central area.

The team didn’t stop there, they also organized another Iftar with all the students of the school of the blind in Abuja, members, friends, and families were all invited to share a plate with the school students, this event was carried out on the 30th of May 2018. Over 150 people benefitted from this activity carried out on that day, variety of food stuffs were also donated to them.The exercise which was extended to Niger State were about 200 Orphans together with people special disabilities at the Niger State government Orphanage house even those who are not at the Orphanage house, that the event was carried out on Monday 4th of June members and volunteers all were at the Orphanage home to have Iftar with the Orphans, there was a lot of variety of food ranging from pap and moi-moi masa and soup, fruits, local and internal drinks and lots more. in kano on the June 3rd 2018 was held at the Tudun Maliki School of the Handicapped in Kano. Approximately 1,500 students both male and female in the benefitted from this activity.

AHF gave out raw food package such as rice, sugar, oil spaghetti, beans, millet, was distributed in Abuja, Kano Niger and Kaduna to Orphans, widows and people living with special disabilities, over 500 families benefitted from this activities which took place in Kano on the 27th May 2018, in Abuja 19th of May 2018 and lastly in Niger State is on the 26th of May 2018.

The feeding and distribution of raw food packages to Orphans, traumatized women, people with special disabilities and widows has been running consistently every month of Ramadan for the past four years.
